Canadian Red Cross Promote Humanitarian Issues
The Canadian Red Cross conducts awareness of global issues and crises to empower civil society active, informed and compassionate, which can act to alleviate human suffering.
The Humanitarian Issues Program provides leadership training for humanitarian volunteers. It aims to prepare them to undertake education and public engagement in relation to crises and humanitarian issue's individuals.
Promote issues such as international humanitarian law and conduct a campaign called Even wars have limits, which highlights the impact of war on women and children. We also examine the humanitarian impact of weapons such as landmines and cluster bombs.
