Mammography: the most reliable method to detect breast cancer

The Canadian Cancer Society says that mammography is still the most reliable method to detect breast cancer. October is the month of breast cancer awareness, and the organization wants to use this time to educate women to change the message on a self-breast exam.

This new recommendation takes into account various scientific data in recent years and reaffirms the importance of mammography as a screening modality for breast cancer.
