Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome (WPW)

This is a special form of SVT. This arrhythmia can occasionally occur in families. It is caused by an extra conduction pathway between the atria and ventricles. This conduction path allows the electrical impulses can pass between the atria and ventricles without passing through the AV node, resulting in shorter pathways and rapid heartbeat.

Atrial flutter
Atrial flutter is less common than atrial fibrillation, but these arrhythmias are quite similar. You can have both conditions. It can be switched between the first and the second condition. The main difference is that atrial flutter is a more rhythmic and organized arrhythmia, with approx. Atrieslag 250-350 per minute, and it can also in some cases be easier to treat than atrial fibrillation.

Supraventricular tachycardia
Supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) is a common term for many forms of arrhythmia that occurs in the anterior chamber (supra means above). SVT species that usually attacks with rapid heartbeats that begin and end suddenly and can last from seconds to days. They often start when the electrical impulses from the immature heart will find a shortcut to the AV node and is the normal sinus impulse to it. SVT can cause a heart rate of 140-200 beats per minute. Although the condition is usually not life threatening in an otherwise normal heart, symptoms from the "runaway" heart felt very strong.
