Heart conditions cause arrhythmia
Any change of heart can lead to development of arrhythmia due to:
Renal blood flow. If the blood supply to the heart is reduced, it can change the heart cell's ability to function normally - something that also applies to the cells that leads the electrical impulses in the heart.
Injury or death of heart tissue. When the heart tissue destroyed or dies, it can affect the way electrical impulses travel through the heart.
Coronary heart disease
The disease includes two conditions angina pectoris and myocardial infarction, and it is due to reduced or blocked circulation in the coronary arteries (coronary arteries). Although coronary heart disease has been associated with many forms of arrhythmia, it is most often associated with ventricular arrhythmias and sudden cardiac death.
