Symptoms
The main symptom is pain of extreme intensity, often described as burning. Other symptoms include:
- sensitivity to touch
- skin changes
- swelling
- weakness
- decreased function of the hands / feet.
Diagnosis
The diagnosis of complex regional pain syndrome made the doctor may be based on:
- medical history
- examination
- bone scanned
- tests on the nervous system.
- X-ray
- Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
