What causes the condition?

There four chambers in heart the two upper chambers (atria) pump's blood into the main chambers and "recharge" them the two main chambers that pump blood to the lungs, respectively, and to the respite of the body. Normally, i.e. upper chambers contract just before the main chambers.
When atrial fibrillation is upper chambers and "trembling" at high speed, without pulling itself properly together. This allows the main chambers at the heart is not filled up as much as they should, and the heart can thus not have to pump as much blood as normal.
Several factors can make you prone to developing atrial fibrillation:
- Heart disease due to hypertension
- Angina pectoris or myocardial infarction
- High metabolism
- Poor heart valves
- Alcoholism six
- Chronic lung diseases
- High age
