What causes ventricular tachycardia?

Series of ventricular extrasystoles can be seen in cardiovascular disease with decreased blood flow to the heart muscle. It is seen particularly frequently in patients with coronary disease. Other causes include heart muscle disease, a side effect of drugs against arrhythmia in the heart, inflammation of heart muscle and poisoning.

Predisposing factors include heart failure, low blood count, low oxygen supply, infection and disturbance of potassium or magnesium levels in the blood.

How is ventricular tachycardia?
The goal of treatment is to stop the attack and prevent new attacks. Several of the drugs used can cause acute side effects and in itself trigger serious arrhythmias.
ventricular tachycardia causes

Acute ventricular
Short bouts of ventricular tachycardia early throughout a heart attack not usually require treatment. Exceptions are ventricular tachycardia with a duration of 30 seconds or short-term tachycardia with the affected patient. The unstable circulation is done quickly called cardioversion, that surge over the chest. The steady flow is used more time on diagnosis, before an electromechanical converter, provides drugs or paces (that sends electrical impulses that compete out the heart's own).

Prevention of ventricular tachycardia
A key element of treatment is whether there is persistent or non-sustained ventricular tachycardia, good or poor functioning of the left ventricle, poor blood circulation to the heart muscle or not, the influence of circulation by seizures or not, acute myocardial infarction or not. The severe symptoms and poor left ventricle, most implanted a device (a defibrillator), which sends electric shocks that interrupt the abnormal impulse formation. It may be appropriate to give medications (beta blockers, amiodarone), which counteracts the tendency of ventricular tachycardia.

Ventricular fibrillation
It requires immediate surge. The ventricular heart pump's blood and the condition is life threatening.

Pharmacotherapy
When ventricular tachycardia is given the drug lidocaine. In severe or recurrent tachycardia given drug amiodarone. Other topical treatments are already mentioned cardioversion, pacing, cardiac resuscitation and correction of predisposing factors.

Surgery
Recent intervention may bypass surgery on coronary arteries (sewing on a vein by an end before and end after a blockage so that blood can take an alternative path, and the heart muscle gets more blood), implantation of automatic defibrillators (gives electric shocks to interrupt ventricular tachycardia ); removal of any ballooning of the heart chamber, removal of abnormal conduction fibers between the upper chambers and heart chambers.
